I wish this house belonged to my best friend so I could visit any time I felt restless. I’m more of a minimal nature wood and stone kind of gal but one can not but admire it’s intriguing design, beautiful soft lines, simplicity and transparency. Although it is not easy to imagine, it actually hides some very functional features, like the red square wall for instance which is a guard against the strong North Atlantic Ocean winds. And for those that need to know more, it’s located in Sao Miguel Island in the Azores, Portugal and it’s name is Flights of Birds.
