Sala Ayutthaya, designed by Thai design team of Onion is a 26-room (duplex suite and pool suite as well as a signature restaurant – sala ayutthaya eatery and bar) boutique hotel across the picturesque site of the old capital of Thailand along the Chao Phraya river, opposite the famous Wat Phutthaisawan. Built in 1353 by the first monarch of Ayutthaya kingdom, this temple remains the encompassing view of the restaurant and the riverfront suites of the hotel. And it is the next destination, after SALA Rattanakosin, Bangkok and SALA Lanna, Chiang Mai. Not just a great location, by the way, because the design, by Onion (that drew inspiration from the materials, shapes, and majesty of the ancient city), is what you need to experience by yourself.
