Amsterdam based footwear and accessories brand ETQ has just released the first part of its Spring / Summer 2016 collection, featuring a range that represents a fresh take on quality contemporary classics.
Founded in 2010 in Amsterdam, ETQ was born under a mindset that values the elimination of the unnecessary to focus solely on quality and great design, thus letting the product speak for itself. The principal idea was to create a line of favorite pieces, those that we want to live in on a daily basis.
Three rules apply when developing ETQ designs: they must be elegant, timeless, and of high quality. These principles merged and grew into a footwear and accessories line that truly embodies what ETQ stands for: simple, smart, durable, functional, quality products, that set themselves apart from the norm.
The first part of the ETQ Spring / Summer 2016 collection has just been presented, with a second part to come later in the season. With a strong focus on detail, the new collection introduces six unique designs in 34 styles, representing a fresh take on contemporary minimalist styling; seasonless footwear classics, reinterpreted with a modern twist.
The new collection features luxury Italian Nappa leather; each pair is fully lined in calfskin, and finished with either thick rubber cupsoles or gum soles in both tonal and contrasting hues. To fully capture the essence of the brand, the collection plays with materials and textures, such as graphic hexagonal patterns and PU and rubber leather coating, in the light blush tones and pastel shades of the season, to create a distinctive aesthetic whole. Retailing between €220 and €270, each pair comes with its own dust bag and an extra set of waxed laces.
The collection is now available online, in the etq store in Amsterdam, and in selected retailers globally.
