Aston Martin is marking their 60th anniversary by producing a limited edition Vanquish – only six bespoke models will be built.
Built with a helping hand from Aston’s personalisation service “Q by Aston Martin”, each model will be tailored to suit the exact needs of each buyer, plus, all models will feature bespoke interior dials with rotaries crafted from old pistons from iconic Aston’s which span the 60 years.
The six pistons have been drawn from a model from each of the six decades. Models include the DB 2/4 Mk II saloon, DB5, V8 Coupe, V8 Vantage X-pack, V8 Vantage supercharged and the Original Vanquish. Work’s Anniversary wording is then laser etched onto each of the dials.
“This Vanquish and its five siblings are a celebration of 60 glorious years of Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell”, said Paul Spires, commercial director of Aston Martin Works.
And, of course, each of the six limited edition models will feature the same 576bhp 6.0-litre V12 engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Plus, each variant will include unique sill plates portraying the era the car relates to, with contrasting yellow stitching and carbon-fibre adorning the interior.

Remember: Founded in 1913 by Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin as ‘Bamford & Martin Ltd’, the company has developed into an iconic brand synonymous with luxury and elegance. 1914 saw the birth of the name ‘Aston Martin’ following one of Lionel Martin’s successful runs at the Aston Hill Climb in Buckinghamshire, England. Within a year the first Aston Martin had been built and registered with the name, and an icon of the automotive world was born.
