Dover Street Market have commissioned 61-year-old star architect and daring designer Zaha Hadid to design the DSM Olympic window. Its name is “Aqua”. And slippery it is, when wet. Fashion and Olympics aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive. The proof lies in the Mayfair fashion store Dover Street Market, which is now displaying a new Zaha Hadid Olympic window. The monochromatic concept, featuring an undulating design to reference her work at the London Olympic Aquatics Centre, has been created to compliment the centre’s undulating roof. The installation will be on display at Dover Street Market throughout the remainder of this summer’s Olympic Games.. So, by all means, do not miss it, if in London.
