Introducing a fantastic grey loft, part of a five storey building really, situated in Athens, Greece, designed by Studio LILA architect + designer. What we loved most about it, is the great northern light and how it plays along with all grey tones, creating a fabulously calm and welcoming ambient. Surprise factor: grey, which usually creates ice cold minimal spaces, is here unexpectedly warm. About the architect: Studio LILA architect + designer which is based in Athens, was established in April 1999 by Lila Athanasopoulou, architect engineer of NTUA. It deals with the study + construction of private houses, while working + experimenting on a wide scale field, which includes detached residences, modifications, apartment blocks and shops alongside product design. It has participated in various national exhibitions of architecture + design, while relevant articles have occasionally been presented in Greek publications.
