House in Taiwan refurbished by House Design

Our latest discovery is an old house, a treasure really, situated in Pingtung City, Taiwan. Dubbed “The Adventure of the Light”, the building got recently refurbished by House Design. And it now looks better than ever before. Do note that the structure of the house is actually over 50 years old, making the renovation itself extensive, and complicated. And yet, tearing down quite a few walls led to sunlight filling the once-dark house - in fact on all levels. What we loved the most though, was the color palette used, quite muted with only a few subtle uses of bright colours wisely sprinkled throughout the house.
