Freeskier and alpine ski racer Jon Olsson is introducing us to his customised German super wagon, the Audi RS6 Avant, the ultimate winter transporter.
Last year he chose the full carbon Audi R8. This year though, the 2014 Swedish pro-skier Jon Olsson decided to go for the Audi RS6 in grey, black and white camo that is currently in line for upgrades at the hand of Stertman Motorsport before he takes final delivery of it (this beauty is going to get lowered, courtesy of a H&R suspension, “sweetened” with a Milltek exhaust and boosted by Stertman Motorsport that shall now add more power”.
His new Audi is just the latest in a long list of high-performance cars which have gone through Jon’s garage. “This is by far the most impressive car I have ever driven – with the exception of the incredible Koenigsegg Agera R”, stated Jon Olsson at its presentation and after his first ride. Considering the fact that he had previously driven a Lamborghini Gallardo, as well as a PPI Design R8 Razor GTR to transport his ski this means quite a lot.
And, gentlemen, do note this: At the heart of the 2014 Audi RS6 Avant is a new uprated twin-turbo version of the 4.0 V8 TFSI engine. And Quattro GmbH, the company actually responsible for all RS models, managed to squeeze out another 140 hp, lifting its output to a total of 560 hp.
