Artist Michael Beitz has created “Not Now”, a 28 foot long sculpture made from wood.

Beitz specializes in sculptures of warped furniture and other everyday objects. Here, he’s masterfully shaped and curved the wood, so that it looks as pliable as a soft piece of plastic.

The 28-foot-long twisted and tangled table is not quite a conversation starter, at least not if you’re sitting at it, as you almost can’t see your dialogue partner on the other end. Instead you find yourself marveling at Beitz’s stunning handiwork.
