And just about when I thought there is nothing more to see in something so common as wine vessels, here are Etienne Meneau’s “Strange Carafes”. Strange indeed but I cannot but admit that they look beautiful in a peculiar and morbid vampirish kind of way. Nonetheless they get your attention and make you wanna buy them just to have the pleasure of shocking your grandma in Christmass table.

The hidden message here are the benefits of red wine for the heart even though you need to pay between €1000 and €2000+ in order to get one of those beauties.

Notorious vespa driver, a true spaghetti and Campari lover, mother of an arrogant dog called Fro, and the6milliondollarstory.com, she couldn't help but fall for design. Like into a pool. In a clumsy Clouseau manner. And with Design Father, it really can't get any deeper than that. Aouch.

Design is the application of intent – the opposite of happenstance, and an antidote to accident.
