The Moleskine Game of Thrones Limited Edition

Moleskine, heir of the legendary notebook used by so many of the great storytellers and avant-garde artists of the past, celebrates the epic storytelling of the popular HBO series Game of Thrones, with a limited edition notebook collection.

The Moleskine brand was created in 1997, inspired by the nameless black notebook used by writers and artists like Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, and Bruce Chatwin that was long out of print. The pages of Moleskine notebooks – whether plain or ruled – are the perfect place to record your epic adventures or a blank canvas for the imagination; a place in which any story can take shape. Today, the Milan-based brand encompasses a wide range of products including notebooks, diaries, journals, bags, writing instruments and reading accessories, all designed to enhance productivity and creativity.

Moleskine regularly pays tribute not only to enduring classics but also today’s most popular icons. With its latest limited edition collection, released today, Moleskine celebrates the huge international success of HBO series Game of Thrones, just days ahead of the US premiere of its sixth season on April 24th.

The Game of Thrones Collection includes four limited edition hardcover notebooks with themed cover designs featuring silkscreen prints by emerging graphic designer Levente Szabò, with a fifth design offered exclusively as part of a collector’s edition box set depicting the Iron Throne. Available in Pocket and Large sizes, with both plain and ruled paper, each notebook comes with exclusive stickers and customised paper banderoles featuring the genealogical tree of the three families – Stark, Lannister and Targaryen.

The video introducing the collection is a work of art in itself: video and animation studio Dadomani, have recreated the iconic Game of Thrones opening sequence with a Moleskine twist: King’s Landing is not only made entirely out of paper but is contained within the pages of the Moleskine notebooks; More than 7,600 individual paper cut-outs were needed to create the three-dimensional buildings that make up this paper version of the city!

The Moleskine Game of Thrones Limited Edition Collection is available on the official Moleskine online store and at Moleskine Stores worldwide.
