Wacaco has developed Minipresso, a device that helps you prepare espresso shots with the quality of a traditional machine.

Don’t get rid of your daily pleasures far from home. With Minipresso, be sure to enjoy a delicious espresso anywhere, anytime.

Its ease of use lies in its conception. With the help of the semi-automatic piston, small quantities of water are injected into the coffee adapter. After few pushes, the optimal extraction pressure is achieved. A rich and bold espresso is extracted. And do note this: Minipresso is available for coffee grind or Caffitaly capsules.

It doesn’t require compressed air, N2O cartridges or electricity for its operation. Hand operated, you are free to prepare coffee drinks that you love. Different water tanks capacity are available so you can enjoy multiple quality espresso, going from ristretto to café lungo.

Besides being aesthetically pleasent with its modern and slick design, Minipresso contains an ingenious core, the semi-automatic piston. Unlock it from its carrying position and press it at will to control the amount of extracted coffee. A few strokes and you masterize a perfectly smooth espresso full of savors.

About Wacaco: Founded in 2013, Wacaco is a startup company based in Hong Kong. Its registration precedes the Minipresso commercial launch. Originally started in 2012 as a personal project, in an effort to create a small, light and convenient handheld espresso machine, the Minipresso is now ready to enter into production. Hugo Cailleton, founder of Wacaco and master degree’s holder in industrial design, has been involved many years in the manufacturing of home espresso machine prior to initiate the development of the Minipresso. The idea of the portable espresso machine, allowing users to pull their own drink on the go, crossed his mind one morning during a business trip after having been disappointed by a poor espresso shot in a hotel.
